President's Message / 2006, July

Dear Friends of ICA:

This month we have two exceptional events. July 20 at the FCCJ will feature a presentation by Naotaka Nakase of market innovator salesforce.com. July 26 is a joint networking event with the ACCJ Information, Communications & Telecommunications Committee. We will provide unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks and some snacks up in the garden on the roof of the beautiful Holland Hills Mori Tower in Kamiyacho. This will be a great way to start your Thursday evening and network with folks here in the Tokyo IT world.

In case you missed it, our May speaker Robert Burnside was enthralling as he explained how to deliver winning presentations, and provided the keys to mastering the art of persuasion. The entire audience listened to Robert’s every word and the presentation was suitable for both those lacking confidence to make effective presentations to others who have the courage to stand up and take control when presenting to a boardroom of influential people. Robert specializes in leadership communication and how to influence others with powerful verbal and visual communication, we definitely hope to have him back as a speaker soon. The ICA will take the month of August off and our first event after summer will be Thursday September 21 at the FCCJ.
