Employee Rights in Japan

The current job market in Japan does not really favor employees. It has become more difficult to find a job, and—although Labor Ministry rules restrict the use of non-permanent workers—the non-permanent job segment has grown at least 10% over the past 15 years. In this difficult job market, knowing how the law works can make a big difference for individuals.

* Salary cuts & changes in conditions: Your rights.
* Dispute resolution options include labor unions, administrative dispute resolution, labor trials, & lawsuits. Which of these best fit various scenarios?
