Heads in the Cloud

Speaker: Dominic Ashton

Sales Manager, AINEO Networks

The terms “Web 2.0”, “Social networking”, “Guerilla marketing”, “Salesforce.com”, and “Cloud computing” are bandied about by businesses all over the globe. But what do they mean exactly? What are the benefits of such innovations, and what are their business risks?

In today’s rapidly changing environment, what must executives know in order to make the right decisions when it comes to client information? How might they reduce operational and capital expenses? For example: real-estate-related operational expenses in Japan are amongst the highest in the world, so will the cloud help you to reduce your back-office footprint?

As early as 2008 AINEO rolled out a cloud business targeted at Japanese SMEs. Our presenter will share valuable insights on areas such as privacy and client data—and whether the cloud is a good match for your business, or something that should be avoided. Some things that you’ll take away from this executive event:
• Which recent Internet trends may impact your business?
• Which choices can be cost-effective and enhance your bottom line?
• Could cloud computing dramatically reduce your operating costs?

Dominic Ashton studied at the University of Manchester, UK, and graduated in Computer Science. He has been Sales Manager at AINEO Networks for the past four years.
