Think Green — Increase Profits

Speaker: Christopher Neufeld

Head of ICT Business Dev., Frost & Sullivan Int'l, Tokyo

Nowadays an image of environmental responsibility is an important asset for companies. What is “Green IT”, and how can companies leverage green thinking to benefit both themselves and the planet? What are the emerging trends, and areas of growth and business opportunity, for companies in the ICT manufacturing & services sectors?

Refocusing IT departments can provide actionable strategies. Companies are looking more closely at technologies and solutions such as conferencing, collaboration, and call centers, and a host of other ways to save money and energy. We will discuss developments in various technologies and services that allow for measurable savings, and present case studies of leading companies that have implemented green initiatives in places such as their contact centers.

Christopher Neufeld is Head of ICT Business Development for Frost & Sullivan Int’l, Tokyo. Over the years he has worked for such prestigious firms as Microsoft, SAP and TNS. Originally from New York, he has lived and worked in Japan for close to 20 years — most of that time in the ICT field — so he is well versed in the unique needs and perspectives of both Japanese companies doing business internationally, and International firms in the Japanese market.
